
Amanda Jones
Amanda commenced with Berry Street in May 2008. Amanda has extensive experience as an ‘internal consultant’ in evaluation, program development, research and quality improvement within the community welfare sector.
Amanda previously worked within The Salvation Army’s Victorian Social Programme Consultancy Unit, providing R&E, policy, programme development and quality improvement advice and support to The Salvation Army’s community services across Victoria, and an advisory and secretariat support role to the Victorian State Council. Prior to that Amanda held research roles within The Salvation Army Crossroads Housing & Support Network, a private government relations consultancy, and the Victorian Parliament. Amanda also has experience managing a community-based counselling service.
Amanda has a strong commitment to supporting not for profit organisations in the service of child and family outcomes, including bringing a systematic focus on knowledge utilisation and actionable evaluations, fostering programmatic innovation and improvement, and building practitioner, team and organisational capacity to integrate evaluative thinking.
